Data and Verification Methodology

Every published product fact is tied to a manufacturer source and a review date. We separate platform-level specifications from exact tested combinations.

Source hierarchy

Exact board CPU support lists, QVL entries and manuals are strongest for pair claims. Product specifications support socket, DDR and interface checks. General educational documents provide context but do not establish an individual pair result.

Four outcomes

Hard specification conflicts produce “Not compatible.” Missing BIOS, QVL, revision, slot or conflicting evidence produces a conditional or unknown result. We do not invent a minimum BIOS or convert an unlisted memory kit into a failure.

Review and correction

When a source changes, affected claims must be reviewed. Corrections should include a direct official URL and exact claim. The source verification date records our last check, not a guarantee that the manufacturer page has not changed since.
