ASUS lists Ryzen 7 PRO 9745 for TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI. Its table gives BIOS 1063 GO; confirm your processor stepping, PCB revision and installed BIOS before relying on that listing.
Exact ASUS CPU support entry
ASUS lists the CPU name in the support table for this specific motherboard. The table may have multiple stepping rows; read the one that matches the processor you own.
| CPU listed | Stepping | Validated since BIOS | PCB note | Listed frequency | Listed wattage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ryzen 7 PRO 9745 | Not stated | 1063 GO | all | 3.8GHz | 65W |
Listed by ASUS; check your installed BIOS
The ASUS BIOS entry is 1063 GO. It is an official support-list value, not a reading of the BIOS on your own board. A different PCB or stepping can change which row applies.
The two exact products
ASUS TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI is documented with AM5, AMD B850 Chipset, and DDR5 memory. AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 9745 appears in the cited CPU support table. These facts answer the board-CPU listing question; RAM, M.2 storage, cooling and power still need their own checks.
Before installing or buying
- Read the motherboard model and any PCB revision from the board itself.
- Match the CPU SKU and stepping to the ASUS table entry.
- Compare the currently installed BIOS with the exact board BIOS history; do not compare version strings from another board.
- Consult the CPU maker’s current specifications and the board manual for cooling, power and memory conditions.
Run the CPU checker or review the evidence method.
